Devine Sportfishing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates fishing charters out of Venice, Louisiana and the website devinesportfishing.com (the “Site”). Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a booking, ask a question, request our free fishing guide, or buy a gift certificate, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, preferred dates, group size, and any message you include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the Site is used and to measure our advertising. This can include your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and advertising identifiers such as Google Ads click IDs (gclid) and campaign parameters (UTM tags) attached to the link you clicked.

Information from others. If you book through a third-party platform or leave a public review, we may receive limited information from that service.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and arrange, confirm, and run your charter.
• To send the fishing guide or other content you requested.
• To send occasional fishing reports, seasonal availability, and offers. You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link, and of texts by replying STOP.
• To measure which ads and pages lead to bookings so we spend our advertising budget sensibly.
• To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or abuse.

Calls and text messages

When you submit a booking form with your phone number, you agree that Devine Sportfishing may call or text you about your inquiry and trip at that number, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.

Services we use

We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• GoHighLevel / LeadConnector — customer relationship management, booking forms, email and SMS.
• Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads — site analytics and advertising measurement. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — advertising measurement, if the Meta Pixel is active on the Site.
• Vercel — website hosting.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google's ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Blocking cookies may affect parts of the Site.

Retention and security

We keep booking and inquiry records for as long as needed to run our business and meet legal and accounting obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing contact, by emailing devinesportfishing@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Parents and guardians book on behalf of minors who fish with us.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
